What is the Octa-copter?

 An Octa-copter is a multirotor aircraft that uses eight motors and propellers,Octa-copter is unlike a helicopter that rises on a single column of air, the Octa-copter rises
on eight columns of air making it more stable than other multirotors like tri-copter,quad-copter and also hexa-copter.

                 more no of rotors -------> more stability------> low maneuverability

a-plus (+) configuration

b-X-configuration

Advantages of an Octa-copter:

1-more stable than other multirotors

2- more redundancy (any single random motor can fail and it will still finish the mission)

3-Very High Lift Capacity & Wind Resistance more than other multirotors.

Disadvantages of an octacopter:

1-Low efficiency  (because power usage per pound of thrust goes up)

2- Large and Expensive

3-High power consumption
4-low maneuverability
